S'ka obducation for the two killed officers, Gerjaliu and chief prosecutor Jashari speak

It has been more than a week since the body of Officer Malsor Dash was found in the waters of the Lepenc River and three days since finding another policeman, Armend Train, in the same area. Despite rising water levels with rainfall and hail, research had continued for ten days.

But Kosovo Legal Medicine and Ferizaj's Constitutional Prosecutor have yet to publish the Obligation Report on the deaths of these two policemen.

Legal Medicine Institute Director Arsim Gerjaliu has said that they have no right to publish the software report for those two policemen, but that they will submit to the Ferizaj Prosecutor.

We're doing the analysis, and after finalisation we expect the Prosecution to publish the reports. Legal medicine is not right, he said of Periscope.

Periscop has also contacted chief prosecutor at Ferizaj's Founding Prosecutor, Shukri Jasharin, who has confirmed that the report has not yet been officially delivered to them.

Report has yet to officially surrender. We haven't received the report yet. The moment we get them, we're going out with a communique, but officially we haven't already accepted them.

Jashari has said legal medicine is in the period of reporting and that it takes a longer time to finalise.

For ten days, police units, The KSF, divers and volunteer citizens had researched the two bodies of police who had fallen from a distance of 100 meters on the Lepenc River, as they were driving through the official car at Kacanik- Hani-Elez Street.

Malsor Dash was found in five days, and Armend Traina was found on the 10th day in the 6th mile (at the entrance of Hani Elez) from the scene of the accident on the Lepenc River.

Kosovo police had reported that because of still unknown causes, the car in which the two police officers were located had lost control and had fallen off the road, falling from a height across the Lepenc River. The car was then taken out of the river.

It was suspected that the bodies of the two police officers could have been carried to the Macedonian part of what the search had begun in the neighboring state.
