Renowned Albanian writer loses only child (Photo)

This Sunday morning, writer Butterflies has shared the sad news of her son's life.

Jerin, 18, lost his battle with the rare disease he suffered from. Amid motherly pain, Acka has announced that the mortal ceremony for Jerin will be held in the Netherlands, where he has spent some of his years of life in a close circle of family and friends.

My friends,

Last night, at a late night, my only son, Jerin van den Brink, was separated from life by a very rare disease he suffered from recently. It is not easy for a mother to paint black for such news, nor to accept the loss of the most loving being I have on this earth. With fear of never getting used to his absence, I wish only to hear good news from you. According to Jerin's wish, the farewell ceremony will be held with a close family and social circle in Usecht, Holland, where my son lived for several years after a long childhood in Albania. For my friends in Albania, I will be in the country through June.
