For the sake of old age, the LDK can only pass the Dedaj Liberal Party. In the 1990s, she tried to cultivate some political pluralism in Kosovo, in an illegal system not accepted by Slobodan Milosevic's regime. But this development also led to the cultivating of the culture of Improvisation which is not to this day. All that was thought to be resistance to oppression that was distributed on fascist grounds, with elections and Friday conferences hardly put the Serbian dictator in any way. It was just a resistance improvise.

Hence, resistance was seized by a group later called the KLA. There was a war that LDK had little to say about that which shaped the design of producing values and politics in the post-war period. The law of the LDK, even as long as it was in government, did not matter.

She tried to prove to be the only party in Kosovo that understood democracy, institutionalism and plurality, but all this evidence was served in the 2006 internal elections, when violence broke out in the assembly of KPHARE.

It was also improvised with reforms. In practice, this party recycled the same way of functioning, the same people and the same ideas over the past two decades.

Even today, this party wants to think as the most democratic and institutionalist at the country level. This effort dates back to the early post-war years, perhaps as a pre-reflective effort, where the LDK never took up the prime minister's post even though it strongly won the elections. It made its fault less obvious in this form, a tactic that is probably being used today by the PDK. Even when she took over the post of prime minister after the June 2014 elections with Isa Mustaf, she produced a dumb government that improvised an institutional approach, which produced less-vigouring scandals precisely because of her estimated blindness.

The LDK has never made corresponding criticism of PDK governments. This has made it easy to link coalitions with the latter, despite allegations of misgovernance [without forgetting, even those for her post-war activists' killings]. She never even committed self - sacrifice, and she did not openly admit her mistakes during the postwar period. The only self-critics, which also seemed to be self-purchasing, was when Isa Mustafa in a debate said his party had not been able to sell the hard work he had done.

To benefit politically, it has not hesitated to myth Ibrahim Rugova's image and entire activity. And it seems that the longer it takes, the greater it becomes, and the more this party benefits. It has built up some kind of spirit/filozofie Rugovianʹ as it has never indicated in what concretely constitutes such a thing, since institutionalism, democracy and pluralism are declared to be attitudes of all other parliamentary parties. But perhaps this kind of spirit or philosophy consists of public passiveism. I mean, in the idea that whatever the PDK does, or it does, because that's what it's written [by nature/God].

With Vetevendosje split and PDK weakening, the LDK suddenly became the largest party in Kosovo. And, with the smell of power, there were also ambitions. Gazmend Muharnier, thrilled by the result he had received for mayor in Pec, said he should be the next prime minister. The ambition has also expressed Vjosa Osmani, Avdullah Hoti, Lutfi Haziri and Agim Veliu. Internal Elections in LDK can restore the true face of this party through another outbreak of violence, or if not violence, then another division.

Isa Mustafa's health could be another determining party fate in question. He is currently seen as an interior power struggle regulator by being politically consumed himself. But what Mustafa may have to do with some urgency is appoint a candidate for the mayor, who could be seen as a consensual candidate by not being any of the above-mentioned names. The evil of being ambitious is that when it becomes visible/public is encountered and attacked. And a seemingly consensual candidate would actually keep the party tight from being divided since all those who have expressed ambition already see each other as opponents.

The LDK needs to invest in more conservative reforms and not just in their Improvisation. The institutional approach should not serve to keep nothing in mind and nothing done.

Economic and political circumstances have changed dramatically since Ibrahim Rugova's time, so this party must be dismissed from the burden of this figure. The LDK needs to rethink itself without the historic president, give up its self-advised stance, and design a completely new political programme. Citizens of Kosovo have witnessed in recent elections their need for change. Therefore, the LDK should not simply recycle its governing methods, which do not differ much from those of the PDK, but engage in creating a new political vision for the country.
