Periscop analysis: AAK to overcome Ramush's image

The AAK, or the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, has no other reason to exist but to fulfill Ramush Haradinaj's wishes, its eternal leader. Three years ago, as a opposition, she launched her bitter opposition activity, rejecting the ratification of Demarketing. But Haradinaj linked the coalition with the PDK, which [...]

The AAK contributed greatly to the public debate over political parties, governance and opposition being completely personal, based on their leaders, values, skills and shortcomings. On one side we had Ramush, and on the other side, while the discussion of certain policies was insignificant.

When Ramush Haradinaj fired Murat Meha on a map, the chairman of the Commission for Border Sting, he also called it épeder. But then he committed himself to ratify the same version of the %peder by calling all his activity as an opposition.

The AAK currently rules with eight Kosovo municipalities and, in this respect, by Albanian parties, alone. The LDK stays better. It holds the prime minister's position, of course sitting on edge, is Ramush Haradinaj, and has become important for political developments in the country.

But this party has clear personal, family and tribal character. One thing that dictated her activity as opposition and now, her fragile activity in government.

Get the people in the AAK. Each of them would have to legalise Ramush Haradinaj's figure and heroism, at the bottom of any domestic democratic development that would benefit the country.

Its character mentioned lays out the possibility of/need to create a network of clientelelymism, as does the PDK, because at the representation/repressive level, it remains bad. The expansion and its work on the ground witness the eight municipalities won and its reinforced ties with different businesses.

However, it has to be said that although corruptly, the AAK maintains very strong connections with citizens, especially on the Dukagjin plain. It has its responsibility for blowing veterans' lists, while it is natural to organise party-design employment now that they are in government.

This party has copied the ruling PDK approach, and has even further vulgarised it. Haradinaj's government so far can be described as government heads without taking anything. The decisions he made in these months were quite controversial and irrational, which the prime minister himself had reasoned with <x0m>>u has on”.

This government is dangerous because on one side it has created space for The PDK is exercising its power in public enterprises [but taking the AAK's share of it], and in the other, it makes non-strategic decisions that do not submit to any economic or political vision.

The existence of the AAK as a political party is an insult to the intelligence of the country's citizens. Even this party managed to conceive as such through the use of the values of war. So, she has nothing to offer. But there's definitely a lot to take. And in this respect, it's unerring.

The AAK cannot reform itself by having it as the gordian menu. Haradinaj is a consumed political figure, and if this party requires any change, then it needs to promote new figures and invest more in the representation level.

The AAK should see itself beyond Ramush Haradinaj, a mortal bike like all others, and seek a new identity for itself. Otherwise, no beer or good will be citizens. And even its very existence will prevent the country from further democratising, cultivating a very personal political debate, like drama, and promoting tribalism and familiarism.

As the AAK came to power, patheticly through Prime Minister Haradinaj also began to become populist. I speak simply for those of my citizens who can understand intellectual language” said the leader who had compared himself to the cat. The simple language is the central feature of populism and it will greatly damage the country's political space.

If Kosovo needs something, it is not going back to the simple and vulgar language, but deepening it so that problems can be better understood and resolved.
