Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli has talked about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
He has announced in an exclusive interview in Kosovo's Info Magazine that at the EU Summit for the Western Balkans, he has met many European politicians and leaders with whom he has discussed just that dialogue.
I have met all of them, but I have received the best information from the Bulgarian counterpart, on the part of Bulgaria, that they have been the host of this summit and the compilers of all statements”.
“Each one of them has told me that Serbia is extremely hasty that this burden that forces Serbia to be lifted. It is a burden for Kosovo to burden, but Serbia is now seeing the way to benefit something at the last moment”.
Pacolli has declared that “Kosovo must continue dialogue with Serbia, and Kosovo is extremely interested in bringing this dialogue to a close”.
Kosovo has nothing to offer any more to Serbia, we have opened our relationship and we have offered and given everything, we have nothing left to offer Serbia”.
Kosovo's deputy prime minister has also spoken of a <x0final” between Kosovo and Serbia, saying there may be an attempt to connect these two economically neighbouring states.
“Finale i predict there will be a deal. My personal opinion is that seeing Kosovo has nothing more to offer to Serbia, maybe there will be some attempt by the International Community to connect these two states as economically as possible, in a way to connect more economically”.
“Perhaps it could require that there be airlines from Belgrade to Pristina or that the train coming from Belgrade pass through Kosovo and go to Skopje or vice versa”.
“may be required that perhaps in large infrastructure projects there be a common approach, as in production and distribution of electricity”.
The “will certainly be attempting to lure the two countries into making this historic agreement and to remain bound together”.
He has said that if such an attempt becomes reality, it is in the interest of Kosovo.
“E has the first neighbour Serbia and we are interconnected in many areas. I'm afraid there will be demands that we're not able to understand that's a fair request”.
“It is inevitable to work globally if we don't have Serbia as it is now, with hostile approaches, it would be the greatest interest to co-operate globally”.
