The US Embassy in Pristina reports it will start accepting tourist visa applications (B1/B2) for Kosovars over 50 years of age.
“So far, such service has only been offered in Pristina for applicants over 60 years of age. As the US Embassy in Pristina tries to provide high-quality services to Kosovo citizens who apply for visas, and is considerate of the difficulties the trip to Skopje, given the closure of the main road, it has decided to expand visa services offered in Pristina”, it is said in an embassy report.
In the future, applicants must fill out DS-160 (which can be found on the official site of the US Embassy in: https://xk.usembasis.gov/
On the day of the interview, applicants must pay the visa fee (in cash, dollars, or euros) at embassys where they will be interviewed by a consular official. Notice that these procedures differ from those at the US Embassy in Skopje. Applicants who have already paid the visa fee electronically or at Raiffeisen Bank cannot use this fee to apply to the US Embassy in Pristina either must apply in Skopje or make a new payment.
