MPJ complains in Brussels of cancelling Serbia's invitation to Kosovo deputies

Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reacted after the annulment of invitations to Kosovo Assembly deputies Vjosa Osmani and Ilir Deda for participation in a conference in Serbia.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo expresses deep concern and considers it unacceptable to cancel the participation of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Diaspolia and Strategic Investments, Miss Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, and MP, Ilir Deda, at the conference titled “Along with the EU's idea of peace and development”, which was preceding to be held on May 11th and 2nd, 2018 in Belgrade on the side of the Serbian Parliament<3>, the response to MP.
“This act of the Serbian Parliament under pressure from ultra-nationalist Vojislav Seshel, who has been convicted of war crimes, shows once again the lack of will in Belgrade for promoting good neighbourly relations and developing regional co-operation”, the ministry emphasises.
MPJ has said that “is sorry that right on Europe Day, authorities in Belgrade have shown their anti-European behaviour towards Kosovo and the international community”.
MPJ has warned that it will lay this issue before representatives of the European Union as facilitators of dialogue for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
