Milaim Zeka has called for the dismissal of Gjergj Dedajt, who said Kosovo should not join the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation.
MP NISMAs has said such a statement shames Kosovo as Dedaj is Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and is coming out against his chief in Government.
“What's wrong with the membership of Kosovo in the Islamic Organisation?”, Zeka has asked about the Dedaj statements.
If I were the RPJ of Kosovo, I would urgently request the dismissal of this person, who shames us at any presence even inside the tower, that it leaves us beyond the borders of Kosovo. That's how many deputy ministers have been making out of the Kosovo budget...!
“I am writing for two reasons: First, what's going to happen in a Western country that a deputy administrator goes against his boss' position, and second: What would happen to me as a political ball, and they told me that the Vatican wouldn't need to recognize us?! Kosovo is a very young country, and too small. Kosovo needs membership in every world organisation, which supports us on our way to a UN-based seating”, he added.
On the other hand, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Gjergj Dedaj has openly opposed Behgjet Pacolli in trying to have Kosovo join the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OBI).
All their clashes are being carried out with statements on social networks, where Dedaj wrote that Kosovo should be part of the EU, NATO, UN, UNESCO, but not OBIA.
“
This reaction by Deday has come a few minutes after Pacolli announced he has gone to Bangladesh to lobby for Kosovo's membership in OBI.
From my visits to specific Asian states, I arrived in Daka, Bangladesh, where I am participating in the 45th Minister of Islamic Co-operation Organisation”, as a guest of my counterpart, Pacolli, from Bangladesh.
Despite Pacolli and Deday working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are major differences in state membership in international mechanisms. According to Dedaj, OBI membership is harmful and should not happen.
“The Kosovo Government's efforts, for Kosovo's membership in the Islamic World Organisation (OBI), a hasty and harmful step that endangers, violates and neglects the Euro-Atlantic provision of the Republic of Kosovo”, Dedaj wrote.
OBI numbers 57 member states, most of which are countries with Islamic states, and some extend to the Middle East, North, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and South America. The official languages of OKI are Arabic, English and French. This organization is presented as the general representative of Islamic outlooks in the world.
Despite that, Pacolli has continued his visit to Bangladesh and participation in the conference of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation and has met the country's prime minister.
Local Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina opened the conference, attended by dozens of foreign ministers from member countries, observers, etc. I met with many counterparts, aimed at recognising Kosovo, expanding friends for membership in Interpol, etc. Among them I met Canada's foreign minister, where 1.5 million Muslims live. “kin trust in our support that we are friends of Kosovo”, Kristia Freeland” told me, Pacolli wrote.
Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli, in addition to problems with Deday, has had to do with other Deputy Prime Minister Anton Berisha. Even the latter had issued charges against his chief in the ministry that institutions should not be exploited and treated as private property.
