On Monday, part of these workers have protested before the facility, where the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court of Kosovo is located, KTV reports.
But the meeting held with its directors brought no solution but renewed delays.
Workers have also protested in front of the government's doors, demanding meetings with the prime minister, but they did not accept.
The same people complained about the major problems they are facing in the absence of payment the AKP had to give them and the last company that bought the company before it went bankrupt.
Galvanized steel processing plant “Lamkos” is considered one of the most successful privatisation stories, but turned out to be one of the most grim of the process, being sold 3 times. In all three cases, selected buyers failed to meet the conditions.
In 2005, it was purchased by the Bulgarian-indian company “Kremikowtzi”, but the same failed because of the company's collapse, and many years later, the AKP sold the factory to an English company, which had undertaken to invest 100m euros and employ over 780 workers in three phases, but has never accomplished these, despite fines imposed by the AKP.
