A day after arriving in Albania, Izet Haxhia immediately requested reopening the issue of Azem Hajdari's murder. His lawyer said Haxhia has been tried in absentia and will deposit the request for reopening the case very soon in court. Lawyer Fran Daci was asked by journalists whether Izet Hadzia stood alone in his cell or was with other convicts, but did not respond.
Izet Hadzia, former bodyguard of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, was extradited by Turkey and is located in the 302 prison facilities. He's one of the convicts for killing Azem Hajdari, but he never accepted involvement in murder.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha himself said Edi Rama has promised Izet Hadzic reopening the case for Azem Hajdari's murder, and for that reason he agreed to be extradited to Albania. /panpsy/
