The decision was made today at the 51st FIS Congress, held in Costa Navarino, Greece.
KSF President Milaim Kelmendi, once the fourth vice president of the Kosovo Olympic Committee, has told <x0oc-Kosovo.org” that the decision to accept FIS, has been unanimously taken.
So far, The KSF was only accepted in FIS as a member of Congress held in Mexico, a country that does not recognise Kosovo. Meanwhile, for coincidence, the historic decision for the KSF was also taken in a state (Greece) that does not recognise our country.
Present in Congress, besides Chairman Kelmendi, there was also federation secretary Selim Maloku, and Muhamet Dresey, member of the KSF Board.
Kosovo's Olympic Committee commends the Kosovo Skier Federation for full admission to the FIS.
