There are, however, some unions that are still not being released. Drivers have blocked the country's main roads.

Hundreds of plantations producing nearly all of Brazil's ethanol have stopped working due to a lack of fuel, reports the BBC, followed Kosovas.

The strike has invaded Brazil, long rows are seen at gas stations, airports are out of fuel, and stores are left with empty cabinets.

The government is accusing some of trade unions of being driven by anti-government people, while many protesters have demanded resignations from the government.
