War suffering has forced 675,000 people to flee their countries, the effect is feeling even more in Brazil's Rido de Janeiro.
According to recent numbers, 658 Congolese are waiting to receive residence permits in this city, more than other citizens. While, 943 others are waiting to receive refugee status.
In Rio's impoverished and remote area, many Congolese immigrants have investigated, that it is very painful to be under the orders of criminal gangs, reports “Al Jazeera”, the Periscope broadcast.
They say they want to go home if that's possible.
The Congolese refugees find it difficult to adopt in Brazilian life, for they are forced to learn Portuguese to find work that is almost impossible for them./Periscopi/
