Albanian police arrest criminal group within Elbasan University

The persons arrested in co-operation with each other at different times by misusing public office have sought and exerted illegal influence on the role of sexist and professor at the University “Alexander Juvani” Elbasan for receiving passing grades from students during the exam season, police said.

The detainees are:

1- Albert Rica,55, resident of Elbasan, incumbent Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Alexander Juvani, Elbasan.

2- Elvira River, 54, resident of Elbasan, head of the Department of Journalism at the University Faculty of Human Sciences; Alexander Xhuvan; Elbasan.

3- Erjola Calja, 29, resident of Gostime Cerrik, foreign professor at the Faculty of Economics at Alexander Juvani University; , Elbasan

4 Petit Kodra, 53, resident of Elbasan, in the role of the sexist.

5-Admirim Kala, 31, resident of Tirana, in the role of the sexist.

6-Adam Ngjela, 51, resident in Cyril, in the role of the sexist.

7- Marius Calia, 21, resident of Gostime Churchill, student.

Their arrest was carried out in the process of the decision No.315, the 08.05.2018, of the Elbasan First St. Court, which has assigned to them the measure of security “arrest in prison”, for the criminal work envisioned by Article 245/1/2 and 259, of the Criminal Code, “of the provisional influence on persons who are exercising Public Function” and <x4); Passy> Passive of the individuals who carry out Public Function.

Investigations continue to identify criminal activity to other people.

The procedure materials were passed on to the Prosecutor of the Elbasan District.
