About 500,000 people in Serbia are part of LGBT community

Vasilevic, at the debate at the EU Information Centre before tomorrow's international war day against homophobic, transphobic and biphobis, asked whether the state is aware that there is a prime minister who has a partner that is not legally recognised and what will happen if they want to have children.
“We live in the same sex communities, in these families our children grow up, but the law does not protect them”, Vasiljevic said.
She expressed disappointment that Serbia still does not have a law on marriage of the same gender or for partners to take together a loan.
