Today, the progress report for Kosovo prepared by the European Commission has been published, a summary of which we heard by Mrs. Moghrin in Brussels and Mrs. Apostolova in Pristina.
Among the points Kosovo receives criticism is that of the LGBTI community's rights in Kosovo. The progress report makes it clear that the Constitution of Kosovo protects members of this community, but stresses that they face constant stereotypes and discrimination from our society Periscope follows.
She sees as a positive step the parade of pride in support of the LGBTI community, where President Thaci had also come out, but encourages steps to mete out in fighting phenomenon in society and the media. The progress report says more steps are needed in order to combat intolerance against this group.
