Opposition political subjects in the Drinas municipality today have come up with a joint statement regarding the proposal President Ramiz Ladrovci had made about changing the city's coat and stamp.

The opposition in Drenas strongly opposes this idea of Ludrovci, saying he is trying to change everything that has been done in the municipality. They have even warned protests about the need for this matter, the Periscope broadcasts.

According to them, there has never been a complaint or request on the part of the citizens or relevant institutions for changing the symbols of the Drina municipality.

The opposition has invited organisations derived from the KLA war and any other interest group to join in preserving national identity in municipal symbols.

We remember that these days Ramiz Ladrovci is strolling into European states along with Skyright Mayor Bekim Jasharin. They even went on Wednesday to attend the match between Bayerni and Real Madrid at Allianz Arenaʹ.

Declaration of Opposition Political Subjects in Drenas

Following the proposal of the Mayor of the Darenas Town, Mr. Ramiz Ladrovci for changing our municipality's Stema and Seal, today with the date of 28.04.2018, we representatives and Assemblyists of opposition political subjects in Drenas, have held a joint meeting where we have discussed this issue and decided that through this declaration to address public opinion as follows:

The mosque and seal of our city contain the national symbol that has in the past dominated external acts of decision-making before and after independence. The municipality's symbols represent our identity, and that's why the citizens of the Drenas municipality feel proud. There has never been a complaint or a demand for changing them on the part of our citizens or relevant institutions.

We, controversial political subjects, strongly oppose the unreasonable proposal for changing our municipality's Stema and Seal.
We consider that Mr. Ladrovci is doing this with the aim of demonstrating his authoritarianism to change everything that has been done in our municipality, even changing the identity of the municipality, almost everything is starting in Drenas with his coming to the head of the municipality, and shifting attention from the important topics that precopy our citizens, like: Cliential employment in education and administration; Failure to create conditions for businesses by raising taxes; poor health services, the issue of unemployed workers after stopping the work of the Ferrnikil factory; Change of four lanes without public debate, etc.

The proposal for changing municipal symbols is not only insulting to us representatives of political subjects and citizens, but it is extremely offensive to the families of martyrs and all contributors to the freedom and independence of the country that have accepted gratitude and thanks with this very note representing our national identity.

We, opposition political subjects, will oppose him with all democratic means, including civic protests in defense of the Komuna symbols.
We also call on organisations released from the KLA war and any other interest group in our municipality to join us in preserving national identity in the symbols of our municipality.
