Murder or suicide? Police speak of their first doubts about Art Kurt's death

Art Kurti, who was recently an adviser to the Gjakova municipality's cabinet, allegedly committed suicide.

Kosovo police have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances for suicide, in the case of a Gjakova actor who was found dead with a bullet in his head in a car in the village of Goden, on the outskirts of the city.

The first allegations lead to suicide. Only one weapon was found in the car and the victim had a bullet fired on his head”, the Police Commander in Gjakova said.

“Today about 7am and 50am, Kosovo police have received information about a lifeless body in the village of Goden. Our patrols immediately went to the scene and together with the medical team confirmed their deaths. It's about a person about 30 years old and a gun was found next to him leading to a suicide act, but investigations are the initial phase. The lifeless body was taken from legal medicine and sent for obdusion”, Christa Gjona said.
