State has left Kosovo Police without health insurance

Last night's accident disaster case, which is still unknown to the fate of two police officials, has shocked and disturbed us very much. This pain and concern we are co-operating with family members, with all Kosovo Police officers and our country's citizens”, police Union response begins.

This union says it has long been seeking to start implementing health insurance, but that this has not yet been accomplished.

The “has been a long time since we have been asking that as soon as the implementation of health insurance starts, we also asked that Kosovo Police employees have alternative and accidental security, but unfortunately, we are not yet facing consensus in the competent local institutions to find solutions and give a positive epilogue to this matter”, says the Union.

The Kosovo Police Union stresses that all Kosovo police employees are aware of the challenges and risks that the exercise of this mission carries, but, “has been excessive with the delay, for us unjustifiable, even after 18 years of the founding of the Kosovo Police, we have no health, accident and vital”.

Even this grave and painful case, which is still not known for the fate of the two police officials since last night, but also the resulting cases of the incumbent employees, which are 17 so far, are evidence that urgently and without any time the country's institutions have to resolve this vital cruise issue for Kosovo Police officers”, the Kosovo Police Union's response concludes.
