The Foreign Ministry have said that the kidnapping was announced on April 19th by the Department for Consultative Affairs and by a family member of the kidnappers.
“MPJ was announced on the 1904.2018 through Mr. Shaqiri Pushcoli from the family of the kidnappers, and has forwarded the case through her diplomatic missions for official communication with Serbian authorities, while at the same time being instructed that the case in question be opened to Kosovo Police”, it is said in their response.

During the raid on I's villa. S, a gun has been found in the hunting chair and 16 pieces of bullets, so it also burdens charges of illegal possession.
Serbs say Shacir Pushcoli has not been kidnapped for nationality causes, but material motives.
According to police investigations in Serbia, hijackers had noticed Kosovo businessman because of his frequent trips to the Race.
According to media reports in Serbia, Serbs who kidnapped Shaqir Chikoli reportedly had planned the kidnapping well, contacting him that they are interested in land trading.
When Shaqiri had arrived at the previous meeting, the two had kidnapped him and kept him locked up in an object at Arandjelovac. There, those from Pushcol had been getting information about business contracts, investigating who could make the money for his release easier.
In the end, he had contacted his business partner from Belgrade, and he had demanded 100,000 euros under threat that if they did not pay, Shaqiri would suffer.
Pushcol's partner had accepted the conditions and had scheduled the meeting at a popular restaurant at King Boulevard in Belgrade.
He had also contacted the police, where they had invented the plan and advised him to take the required money so that the kidnappers could be seized by cutting.
At this meeting, Pushcol's partner was presented with 20,000 euros in cash, while police have arrested the kidnappers on the case of accepting the money.
Criminals, one of whom is known for police because of various criminal acts, said the media in Serbia, have surrendered to the prosecutor, and the Supreme Court in Belgrade is expected to take the course of this case after the request for his release of 100,000 euros was made in the capital.
In the case of the Kosovo kidnapping, 50-year-old Vushtrri was also taken over by former head of the Military Security Agency. V BA, Momir Stojanovic. He has most commented on Pushcol's business, saying Serb land is being sold in large measure.
At these moments there are more Serbs' lands that have been sold than land that has not been sold”, explains for “Novosti”, Momir Stojanovic.
He has charged that in the area of heritage rights, more Kosovo laws are exploited than those of Serbia.
When someone dies, the heirs are obliged to come to the inheritance's court session so that they can register further in the possession books. If only one of the heirs is missing because each family has any members on their lists for arrest, the session is postponed. After a year, according to this registry, automatically this land or wealth is given to any Albanian official,”, he said.
Giving these clarifications, he blames businesses like that of Sakir Pushcol who was kidnapped last week. In fact, the former director of the Military Security Agency, said that Pushcol is close to the authorities in Pristina, charging that he and Serbian lawyers compile contracts and take with them the swimmers who do all the jobs there.
“identically, all social companies have been sold in Bujanoc and the district, and their playful and real estate”, Stojanovic points out.
He said owners of all these lands have become Kosovo Albanians. The “on all these jobs has helped Serbian lawyers on this side of Serbia, but the mafia. Albanian and Serbian mafia co-operation will cost us dearly. They are mediators in the size of Serbian lands”, he added.
