Kukes municipal advisers have indicted prosecutors and police officers who have issued warrants for national road protesters.
The indictment has been recorded in the Tropoja Prosecutor on charges “The illegal freedom gap”, “Disuse of task”, “holds arbitrary actions”, “Do not take measures to halt the illegal status”.
The quota councillors' indictment reportedly has been conducted according to methods that follow totalitarian regimes, violating all standards and principles sanctioned in the Constitution. The ban's “commands have been executed by violent entry and by stopping citizens in the 02.00 .30 o'clock in the morning. ”- said in indictment.
Kukes Mayors believe the warrants were issued with a politically motivated act by the prosecution body in Kukes, which has not carried out the process of independent and impartial investigation. “Conspiracy without conducting any verification or investigation of the ban's orders has been done at the criminal goal of intimidating residents and instigating them to fail to exercise the constitutional right to rally and freedom of expression”. The indictment points out that, without an urgent need, the execution of the ban's orders was to be executed in the 7700 to 2000 arch. “Entering residence in the middle of the night, at a time where all the families of the banned persons and themselves, are asleep, as well as under conditions where these people present no social risk, as well as the acceptance of this unlawful form on the part of prosecutors, constitutes abuse of office for State Police prosecutors and employees. ”-confirmed in Kukes municipal councilors' indictment. Even the ombudsman claimed Sunday for some of the protesters there was no warrant for arrest at the time of the inspection, about 1: 00 p.m. The ombudsman made public the fact that the detainees were mistreated, not given food until after lunch. Kukes Mayors stress that “the prosecution's commitment to political and government orders is the end of democracy in the country, and urgent measures are needed to curb this illegal phenomenon.” Councillors maintain that citizens legitimately protested the government's injustice that robbed them through a 10-euro round-of-the-way tax for cars and 45 euros for trucks, so they have removed the stop points and fees imposed on public property. / TCh/
