Parliamentary MP from the Democratic Party of Kosovo Zenun Pajazi risks losing his MP mandate in the Kosovo Assembly, due to the indictment that has been filed against him by the Kosovo Prosecutor.
The role of selectors as to who will be employed at the Gjilan water supply Board, Zenun Pajazit, could cost him in prison. Adem Grabovci once read the candidates' names, while Pajaziti selected them on the basis of political affiliation.
This is what Pajazit can send him to prison, but he may also lose the deputy post.
According to Albert Krasniqi from KDI, MPs could lose the MP's post in the event there is a penalty of formal form, for a year and longer.
“Pa was found guilty even to be convicted of bias of form cut for a year and more imprisonment, not missing the MP's mandate. Unless MPs resign” on their own, Krasniqi has told Inseder.
Krasniqi says the minimum MPs or even other officials holding high state positions would have to resign.
With a country that has a fragile justice system even where political influence is extremely high, setting such standards would be high. This is because in this way those who are not loyal to the party or individual specifics can be eliminated from their posts. But since in a normal country, the establishment of the indictment would have to be followed by the act of resignation of any state official”, Krasniqi said.
Kosovo's Special Prosecutor has filed charges against 11 persons who had been involved in the “Chiefs File” on Friday.
Adem Grabovci, Besim Beqaj, Zenun Pajaziti, Fatmir Shurqij, Sedat Gashi, Xhavit Dajaj, Nyazi Kryeziu, Arbenita Pajaziti, Ilhami Gashi, Ismet Neziraj and Rej Abazi are the people to whom the prosecution has filed the indictment.
