Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojsa Stefanovic has stated that Serbia's competent bodies are taking measures and actions that would have to lead to the increase in the indictment against executionists and ambassadors for the arrest of Kosovo Office Director in Serbia's Government Marko Djuric.
Serbia's Parliament Speaker Stefanovic has said Serbia's “citizens are witnesses for the terrorist act against Marko Djuriqi and Serbian citizens living in Kosovo and the Prosecutor for Organised Crime has begun investigations”
There's already a good direction in the sense that we have people who have participated in the various actions in this act and that against those people there will be an indictment, while the circumstances are waiting for them to be accessible to our organs and to be handed over to our justice organs“, the “Danas” quoted Stafanovic as saying.
He has told the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs intensively in this and that it will not give up for the guilty to be brought before our organs.
On the other hand, sources of some Serbian media say that among the people Serbia is expected to file an indictment are former Kosovo Police Director now Shpend Maximi, former Interior Affairs Minister Flamur Sefaj and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Jtlir Zyberaj's cabinet chief.
These three people have been key to managing the situation and in implementing the political order for Marko Djuric to be arrested in Mitrovica”, these sources have said.
According to them, the order issued by Pacolli's office through Zyberaj has been implemented “illegally” by Sefaj and Maxhun.
The event for Djuric's arrest in Mitrovica had been welcomed by all in Kosovo, but there have been such politicians, who have not been too excited, especially with the fact that he was brought to Pristina and later driven towards Serbia through the Merdare border crossing point.
