Decani Chairman Bashkim Ramosaj satisfied with KEDB investments

With KED investments taking place and taking place in the Decani region, the chairman of this municipality Union Ramosaj is also pleased. Investments have to do with increased quality and stable electricity supply.

During the past year, in our municipality, based on statistics and terrain, the Kosovar Company for Distributation and Electricity Supply KEDS has made serious investments in our region. Even in Isniq we've had new air-recording trauma. Let's not forget that in 2017 there has also been a pleasure in exploiting spaces for construction, renovation of cable and air interceptors passing through the cadastral areas of the Decani municipality to continue the transfer to the Yunik municipality”, says Decani Mayor Bash Ramosaj.

KED spokesman Viktor Buzhala said that with continued investments in Decani the electricity network improving markedly.

“Decani is one of the municipalities that has KED's focus. This is because the network inherited from that section was in a very serious condition. But we are changing this day after day with continued investment”, Buzhala says.

According to him, these investments will continue in the future. “Our aim is to provide as good a service as possible and as secure for consumers”, Buzhala added.

That investments in Decani are continuing, says Chairman Ramosaj. He said that serious and most necessary investments are taking place even during this beginning of the year, which he said would continue.

“in the period 2018, we will have extensions of investment projects from KEDS even to villages, Lebushe, Dubovica and Pasqa. The important thing is to remember that the area -- that is, the Decani municipality region over the decades -- has been confronted by an old network that has endangered households, economies, but consumer life, and investments like these are more than welcome and necessary”, Ramosaj adds.

Chairman Ramosaj also warns a huge investment project of KEDS on these sides. It's about the electrification of the Decani Mountains, which directly helps develop tourism.

“We are negotiating with KEDS and are on a good track for the possibility of investment and the electrification of Decani Bees. It is predicted that by the year 2019, all the families using these mountains will have electricity supply, and this project itself is larger than anyone thinks, when it is known that it will affect the development of tourism”, it ends Ramos.
