Closed and out of the media eye, Minister Shyqiri Bytyqi reported three days ago to the Parliamentary Commission for Education, Science, Technology, Culture, Youth, Sports, Inovation and Undertaking of the State Quality Council (KSHC) of the Kosovo Agency for Accrediting (AKA).

Although he has also been tasked with the Law on Higher Education, which specifys that if more than a third of the board members are replaced for any reason within a year, the ministry must report this Convention, Bytyqi has done this only after the recommendations it issued to the Assembly at an extraordinary session, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

One of the Parliament's recommendations obliged him to report on the reasons for the downloads.

The paper has learned that closed-door reporting and away from the media has been the request of Minister Shyqi Bytyqi himself. His report was made Thursday by 0900 and lasted about an hour. During this report, he has claimed that the previous Agency Board has made several violations, though only one of them has submitted it to the Prosecutor.

Bytyqi has not responded to the newspaper's question if he has asked the Commission to report on closed doors and what facts the Commission has offered for the dismissal of the State Council of Quality and Kosovo Agency's duty for Accreditation.
