Thaci, Haradinaj's Veseliny meeting begins work on Serbian Communist Association

During today, President Thaci has hosted the meeting of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Prime Minister Kadri Wessel. The decoding between the parties was reached at this meeting to establish a working group that would draft the Association/Uniting of Serb majority municipalities.

The President's office through a report sent to the media has provided more details about this group's work.

The “meeting was concluded to create a wide institutional working group, which will co-operate with the Managing Team and with the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, draft the Asociation Statistics/ The municipality of Serb majority, in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo and the Kosovo Constitutional Court decisions”,

This joint meeting also discussed current developments in the dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which will end with legally binding agreements between the two states.

“President Thaci, Prime Minister Veselin and Prime Minister Haradinaj agreed that Kosovo's dialogue with Serbia is the national interest of Kosovo, which must unite the entire political spectrum of Kosovo”, is said further in the communiqué.
