I am happy to announce that John Bolton will be the new Secretary for National Security. I am very grateful for the service of General H.R. McMister who did an extraordinary job. He'll always be my friend”.

McMister, general lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and veteran of three wars, is the latest official to have been shown the door from Trump.

These discharges come five months after America's first one had named his cabinet the best group of people ever assembled.
