The test that began yesterday for paying the nation's way by the company that has won the concession has sparked many reactions in both Albania and Kosovo.
Two weeks from now, he who passes the nation's route will be forced to pay, ranging from 2.5 euros for engines, 5 euros for autoves and up to 22.5 euros for heavy tonnage trucks.
Numerous citizens have complained to Prime Minister Edi Rama about high tariffs, while today he has chosen to, through a comment, answer the fee citizens will pay to cross the nation's path.
Rama says there is no 10 euro fee, but it is 5 euros. In fact, the prime minister to some extent is right, but he forgets to say that a citizen from Kosovo if he comes to Albania will pay 5 euros, but he is obliged to return home, paying another 5 euros, which means that the total is 10 euros. Likewise, the same applies to Albanians who will travel towards Kosovo, or to Kukes.
The top tariff, the prime minister justifies with the maintenance of the road, which is not fully finished, and according to him, will be the company that will build it.
There's no 10 euro payments, Albi, it's 5 euros, the price paid anywhere in the region, and the contribution going to the maintenance of the road, which was partially built (while the company was going to finish construction) and remained in pity for the poor maintenance that has a low cost! ”. writes Rama in his account on Facebook.
Albania's Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy has come up with a statement to the media, saying the tariffs have been imposed since 2016, and there can be no more negotiating about them.
