Producers complain of Kosovo-Albanian common market failure

The Kosovo Producers Club has voiced concerns about the difficulties that producers from Kosovo are facing as a result of the good failure of the joint Kosovo market dealt with.

The “These caused by numerous procedural barriers on the part of Albania's authorities for producers from Kosovo, thus affecting the malfunction of this common market. Similarly, Kosovar producers face a situation which is discouraging for their products, which is reflected in the latest data on trade exchange”.

The problems producers from Kosovo say face are dealing with procedures that are applied by the Albanian state for products from Kosovo, such as the payment of scanners, the refusal of phytosanitary certificates, long and unnecessary controls of products, which cause only delay and therefore cost increases.
