People in this country are risking their lives to see the blue ice (Photo)

People in the northern part of Michigan are experiencing a normal phenomenon seen only on glaciers - blue ice, gathered in the Mackinac Strait.

Photo Kim Metler lived in this area for about two years and had never seen blue ice before.

Surprised by the sight, she spent about an hour Tuesday to photograph everything. It was so warm in northern Michigan that there was a reason to get out. It was about 40 degrees, while the sky was frowning”,Eat Kim.

She added that all the people went out and risked their lives spending in frozen straits between Michigan Lake and Huron.
