The first reports report that an armed male with a knife has attacked pedestrians indiscriminately near the famous Prater park in Austria's capital.
Austrian APA news agency has reported, citing a police spokesman, that three people have been seriously injured.
According to the spokesman, police are still searching for the assailant. The motive for the attack now is unknown.
