Through a reaction on Twitter, Hoxhaj said that when Belgrade talks about divisions in the Balkans, they actually have in mind the division of Bosnia, adding that Milorad Dodik's statements are evidence of that.
Hoxhaj stressed that any change in the borders of the Western Balkans opens Pandora's box and creates dominoes throughout the region.
“When Belgrade cites the division of territories in the Balkans, they actually have their minds on the division of Bosnia. Reconfirmation for this is also this statement by Milorad Dodik. Any change of borders in the Western Balkans opens the pandora box and creates domino effect throughout the region”, Hoxhaj wrote on Twitter posts.
Republika Srpska leader in Bosnia, Milorad Dodik, has restored Serbian ambitions for changing borders in the Balkans. He even said this should be done calmly, without making too much noise, despite the fact that the international community once sponsors of the European integration of the Western Balkans have already expressed itself against any change in borders.
Dodik said that the majority-Serb Bosnia section, and the inhabited part of Kosovo with Serb national populations, should join Serbia.
This is not the first time Serbia has shown ambitions for changing borders, as top Serbian officials have come up with similar ideas.
