Two women have accused the action star Steven Seagal of sexual assault and rape.
Regina Simons and Faviola Dadis made these charges during a press conference along with their lawyer Lisa Bloom. Women have also submitted a Los Angeles Police Department police report, according to Bloom.
Women first went on charges in a story from The Black.
Responding to their accusations and others, Seagal told “Inforooms” that women have “lied and are paid to lie about me without any evidence, no evidence, no witness”. “This is just a complete tragedy,” he said.
This is not just me, but hundreds of people worldwide”, he said, adding that “many of these people are completely innocent”.
He also said that “40 per cent of these claims are false”.
At the press conference earlier, Simons said he first met Seagal when she was in her late teens and appeared in his 1994 film “On Ground Ground Ground”. She said he invited her to the final party at his house, but when she appeared, no one else was there.
Instead, she said, she took him to a next room, which seemed to be a bedroom and closed the door behind him. She said she came after her and started kissing her and taking off her clothes.
I was in shock, she said. “Seagal was more than double my size and twice my age. I wasn't sexually active, I was up”
She said he continued to have relations with her. There was nothing consensual about it,” she said. I couldn't move, and I felt like I was looking at my body from above.
She said she focused on a photograph of a woman from all over the room. It was Kelly LeBrock, Seagal's wife at the time.
After the meeting, Simons said Seagal asked if she needed any money. She said she did not answer and the debate ran outside the house. “Although it hasn't been easy, healing”, Simons said, praising the movement #MeToo to help him get forward. For the first time in 25 years, I've allowed myself to process what happened and work with pain.
Dadis said she also wants Seagal to take responsibility after accusing him of sexual assault. The previous model, which is originally from Amsterdam, said she met with the actor in 2002, when he was embarking on a film in Gengis Khan. She was only 17 years old at the time.
After two other auditions, in which other people were around, Dadis said he was invited to a private test at the U Hotel and asked to wear a bikini under her clothes so that Seagal could make sure she had the right to look for the play.
Dadis said she was surprised to find that there were no other people in the hotel room except Seagal and his bodyguard. When Seagal asked her to make a track in the bikini, she said she told the actor that it was unpleasant.
Anyway, instead of respecting my boundaries, Steven put his hand under the top of the bikini and started drinking,” she remembered, “and slipped his hand across my area...”
Dadis said she quickly called that audience was over and began to collect her things. “Steven sat quietly there, as if nothing had happened, while I was worried and terrified by the” experience, she said.
She added that his security guard stood blocking the door. “I left feeling terrified and completely violated,” she said.
After years of therapy and suffering from “depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress”, Dadis said he broke the silence.
