Every year, the Pristina municipality loses thousands of euros in the lack of a health certificate service for persons applying to enter a driver's license test.
The main Family Medicine Centre has not completed this service for five years, since there are no professional doctors in certain areas, KTV reports.
Those who have been retired from being replaced by youths.
This, because of an administrative instruction of the 2015 Ministry of Health that has established only some professions that cannot be trained at the Family Medicine Center.
In 2017 alone, 122,250 euros has been lost to the Pristina municipality because of its lack of service.
Citizens, to obtain health certificates, must address private health institutions.
The ministry provides no alternative to where service can be taken.
Ministry officials have refused to state the case.
This is leading the Family Medicine Centers to direct citizens to private health institutions.
Unlike public institutions, which issued the certificate for 15 euros, private ones cost 20 euros.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 66,509 health certificates were issued last year alone.
