At least two civilians have been killed in two hours since the ceasefire in eastern Syria has entered into force, activists report. The Syrian government has launched new attacks on rebels located in the outskirts of Damascus.
Several Syrian government military planes have attacked Douman and Harasan on Tuesday, Syria Civil Protection spokesman known as the “White Holmett”, Mahmod Adam for “Al Jazeera”, broadcast Periscopi.
In Douma, which is east of Guta, two people were killed, including one woman and some others were left injured, Adam said.
A local activist, Ala al-Ahmed, for “Alzeera” said the attacks had begun at 9:30 am (7:30GMT) on Tuesday, 30 minutes after Russia accepted a ceasefire.
This ceasefire meant that civilians will be evacuated from the rebel-controlled enclave, which has been under continued air raids since February 18th.
According to Ahmed, Russia has not offered a grant or a third trusted <x0pape” to help evacuate the injured from the area.
“There's a big contradiction. ”
What happened this morning is a clear violation of the truce ʹ which is simply propaganda,” said al-Ahmed./Periscopi/
