The Republic of Kosovo has not yet resolved the definition of the state border with Montenegro, for these nearly three Kosovo Parliament legislatures, thus far changing two commissions.

This extension of the definition of this border is not in our favor. Then, this close-up approach will cost our country a lot. With Montenegro, it has not had to happen what is happening in the Kosovo Parliament, in the media and in general in the political discourse of Albanians.

Kosovo was part of RSFJ and our report to Montenegrins historically is nothing compared to Serbia. We haven't had to waste all this energy on the border assignment with Montenegro. It had to be resolved by our instance or at least address international institutions.

When we witness the delay, we should focus on preparing for the definition of the border with Serbia. It is well known that we Albanians are in an undeclared war that has lasted for more than a century with Serbs, and Serbs have violently adopted a territory of hundreds of square miles, and it was the same ones who occupied more than half of our people for decades.

Therefore, defining Kosovo's border with Serbia will be much more difficult and complex because of many historical circumstances that are only known. We do not and cannot deny that the definition of the state border at the same time is the internationally recognised Kosovo-Serbia border, having full meaning in being the Albanian-Serbian border.

In setting Kosovo's state border with Serbia, no one can forget that Medvedja, Bujanovac and Presevo are Albanian province. How the approach to it will be built and cannot be denied the right of even official Tirana to contribute in this respect.

When with Montenegro, demarcation is extending so much, how will we resolve it with Serbia? How long? How many legislatures would have to debate, would internationals need to join in? All of this will be answered by time.
