Hypatia Rock was discovered by Egyptian geologist Ali Barakat in southwest Egypt in 1996, which can change the meaning of our lives, including people, said geologist Georgy Belyan, reports “Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope.
The mysterious rock, characterized by unusual hardness and composition, was sent by Jan Kramer of the Department of Geology at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
At that time, we already had a device that enabled us to determine whether it was earthly or cosmic material,” said Belayan, who is also a researcher on the Kramer team.
After careful examinations, the group came to the conclusion that the rock was not formed on Earth but came from space.
Belayan has used chemical analysis to study the rock substance. The results were amazing.
“The rock has a large amount of carbon. When the rock entered the atmosphere, diamonds were created inside the stone from this carbon, which makes the stone extremely difficult,” said Belayan.
In our case, of course, there are many reasons to speculate about this, considering such a high amount of carbon”, Belayan said.
The research group is planning to continue its work and publish the results in other scientific articles that would reveal how the rock was formed and from which country it came from. /Periscopi/
