But did you know that Barbados is the birthplace of the famous world singer Rihannas?

Rihanna was born in Saint Michael, Barbados, on February 20, 1988, but then with her family moved to America, writes Periscope.

Barbados is an island-state in the Caribbean with about 428km and 34km of coastline.

Interestingly for this island is the country's long parliamentary history. Her parliament is the third consecutive (for seniority) in the British municipality.

Since 1639 parliament was created in the building called “House of Prisons”. After the conflict with Britain, parliament's rights and settlements have been regulated with an agreement called „Charta of Barbados, or Articles of Agreement“.
