Former President Atifete Jahjaga's speech, for which he was indicted for slander, is being widely distributed on social networks. At her side, with the hashtag #the president, civil society's organizations and public personalities have emerged.
But, the person who has been dedicated to those words, Shyrete Berisha, has been touched when she has heard that former President Jahjaga will face justice. Berisha, has spoken of KTV regarding her home dispute now found at the Court of Appeals, as well as the case of former President Jahajga.
Jahjaga, according to Berisha, has said a bitter truth.
In Kosovo's freedom, I never believed my brother-in-law was in my back, usurping the memories of my children, my husband, and raising trials for 18 years. And the same words, the president said to”, Berisha said.
She expects the court to dismiss the indictment against Jahjaga, she has voiced disappointment in her case at the Court of Appeals, which is not expected to be addressed soon.
I'm tired of being a criminal for so many years. I think justice has in mind how many years I've been in the courts, and it's going to be done more quickly”, she said.
Berisha, currently living outside Kosovo while awaiting the court's decision to return and realise the plan for the house to be converted into a museum.
Nongovernmental organisations, who advocate the woman's right to Kosovo, comment on the indictment against Jahjaga as an attempt to close the mouths of activists in this area.
For the indictment, media lawyer Buterie Kusari, in S '%nker's blog, has given several reasons why she can be rejected, among other things because it is inexplicable.
Moreover, Kusari has written that the Civil Law Against Slander and Fry favours Jahajga because it envisions the protection of opinions.
However, it remains to be seen the progress of this trial, which has scheduled hearings for the security arrangement next week.
