Prime Minister Haradinaj praised the work of international media in reflecting the truth in the world and building professional standards by empowering democratic awakes, especially in Southeast Europe.
He said the “Voice of America” has been a window of information about Kosovo in the past, especially in the period of war, and he today plays an important role in Kosovo's democratic processes, as well as in building a developed and tolerant society.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said international media simultaneously play a major role and also assist local media in creating a professional and independent environment.
Governors Board Executive Director John Landing welcomed Prime Minister Haradinaj and praised the co-operation and support he gives the media. He also talked about the impact of VOA in the world, but also in Kosovo.
