Burnley stop Manchester City (Video)

The blues from Manchester started off well and risked the first minute of the match with Bernando Silva but failed to score.

The first goal in this challenge came after 22 minutes of play.

Portuguese midfielder Bernando Silva served well for Brazilian Danilo, who with a long long shot from the distance defeated the local goalkeeper for 0-1.

After the hit, locals rushed towards the guest gate to equalise the outcome.

Good chance had Ben Mee but his head-blowing went to the edge of the column.

With minimum guest advantage, 0-1 concluded the first 45 minutes of this challenge.

Sergio Aguarro had a good case in the 55th minute, but his shot was not correct.

And in the 82nd minute of the match, Burnley managed to even the score to 1-1.

It was midfielder Johann Goodmundsson who managed to score the draw goal for locals.

By the end of the match, the two teams tried to find the winning goal, but they failed.

Manchester City, even after this draw, continues to remain a leader in the Premier League with 69 points collected, 16 more than United to take second place and has a less held match.

Meanwhile, Burnley after this winning point remains in 7th position with 36 points after 26 matches.

In the next week City will meet at the Etihad Stadium with Leicester, while Burnley will be a guest of Swansea.
