After much negative news coming from the European Union in the direction of Kosovo over the past two months, a positive news has finally been delivered by EU foreign policy chief Federica Moghrini, in connection with visa liberalisation.
Mogherin at the third meeting of the Council for Stabilisation and Association between the EU and Kosovo, has also talked about the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo, saying this issue is still under consideration, the paper reports.
The European Commission approved a July 2018 report on meeting remaining standards in terms of visa liberalisation. The decision on the Commission's proposal is currently under consideration in the Council and the European Parliament”, the EU report said.
But, the European Union underlined the importance of Kosovo's continued engagement in the EU-mediated Dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, accelerating and intensifying trust-based work in a legally binding agreement on comprehensive normalisation between Kosovo and Serbia, the paper reports.
All dialogue agreements must be implemented fully without any further delay, in particular the 2015 agreement for “Accociation/Unitation of Serb majority municipalities”.
