The country's president Hashim Thaci has decorated with the Presidential Medal of the 10th anniversary of Independence some of the first KLA officers.
Kosovo had established the Kosovo Liberation Army before declaring its independence. A decade after, at this end of the year when the country unanimously was voted to establish the Army of the Republic of Kosovo, at the Presidential Medal of the 10th Annual Independence I awarded some of the first KLA officers. This medal, today I divided for Kadri Kastract, Binak Gashi, Mahir Hasani, Mensur Kasum, Hysni Ahmeti and Witness Agim Ceela. The Kosovo Army is credited to all our citizens”, Thaci has announced.
