Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has responded to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina's request, which are seeking bilateral consultations on tax raising for orgy products from these countries.
Serbia and Bosnia have called for a meeting under CEFTA to discuss the Kosovo Government's decision to impose a 100 per cent tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia.
In response to these states, Minister Shala has reminded representatives of Serbia and Bosnia that “U n The NMIK has not made the decision on the tariff move, but this decision has been made by the Government of Kosovo, based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, which guarantees Kosovo's integrity and territorial sovereignty, which is invulnerable, incompatible and protected by all means guaranteed by the Constitution and power of”.
In this direction, in the letter, which holds Minister Shala's firm, the demand from these states is said to be invalid and unacceptable to the Government of Kosovo.
Minister Shala has suggested that the Kosovo government will not respond to any demands as long as Serbia and Bosnia do not address Kosovo with its constitutional appointment, and according to Article 42 of the CEFTA agreement.
Kosovo will respond only to CEFTA requirements when they are made in line with Article 42 of CEFTA in line with constitutional appointment”, Minister Shala's response said.
