US Secretary of State Mike Pompeii called Cuba accounts through an open letter about a list of political prisoners, accusing Havna of ignoring all previous US diplomatic efforts on the issue.
“More than 100 political prisoners are in jail”, he says in this letter addressed to his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, and who was made public Tuesday by the US State Department, writes ATSH.
He recalled that during a press conference in Cuba in 2016 with former US President Barack Obama, Cuban head of state at the time, Raul Castro, questioned about political prisoners, had promised to release them immediately if a list was given.
