Oilmen: In Kosovo, oil is no more expensive than in countries of the region

The report that in Kosovo oil is selling 30 cents more than in the countries of the region has prompted the response of the Oil Association, who say Kosovo is the second country in neighbouring states at the lowest price of oil.

They assured that there is no price raise agreement and invited the Competition Authority to investigate.

The chairman of this association, Fadil Berjan, at a media conference said that oil in Kosovo is cheaper and that all reports that in Kosovo the price of oil is 30 cents higher than the countries of the region are untrue.

Berjan also announced the meeting that they have held today with Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, with which he said that in addition to the price of oil, they have also discussed their demands for the regulator and keyage in the streets.

And Latif Kryeziu, of Al-Perol-Shell, assured all citizens that there is no agreement between oil price hikes businesses.
