Russia is willing to engage in Pristina-Belgrade talks if the US would join the process directly and if Belgrade formally asks Moscow to do so.

So stated Serbia's Minister of Innovation and Technological Development Nenad Popovic.

He, after meetings with Russian officials from the Russian Federation Government, said Pristina's steps, such as imposing a 100 per cent tax on Serbian goods and passing the law on forming the Kosovo Army, showed that the EU “has no power to provide guarantees that the agreements reached between Belgrade and Pristina will be respected”.

“These Pristina movements, as well as the EU's lack of reaction, buried the Brussels agreement. Now, we need a new format of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, which, instead of EU care, should be carried out under the UN, with US, Russia and China” mediation, he stressed, the KP reported. /Periscopi
