The mayor of this municipality, Central Kastrati, has announced that this decision has come after continued discussions with citizens. The pyrotechnic tools, according to him, will be particularly banned in the streets and squares.
Full announcement:
After continued discussions with citizens, we agreed that public places, especially on the streets and squares, should not allow the use of pyrotechnic means because of the safety of citizens and children.
I appeal to all citizens not to use pyrotechnics in public places so that we can spend this year without any injuries or consequences. All those who do not comply will follow fines ranging from 10 to 100 euros.
Celebrate without risking anyone's life!
