Behram, along with the Austrian firemen and police, have saved the 14-year-old who had remained confined to an chimney. It was Kosovo who has heard the screams of 14-year-old who sought help, then has announced order forces for intervention. This case has received attention in Austrian media, which a page has also caught in the newspaper “Land Leute”
“One of the neighborhood residents, truck driver Muharrem Behram, heard calls for help from 14-year-old at 1:30 am. Kosovar immediately called the police. Two officials searched all the apartments, but initially they found nothing. It took nearly two hours for the screams to finally be located”, the newspaper wrote, broadcasts the page “My home country”.

Muharrem Behram, who was the first to hear the boy's screams and had warned emergency services in the middle of the night, has expressed satisfaction. He does not consider himself a savior.
