European Union Foreign Policy Chief Federica Moghrini had appeared in a good mood for more than a year ago during a meeting with then Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafen.

Moghrin had even declared that if Kosovo Parliament deputies ratified the Kosovo border agreement with Montenegro, visa liberalisation for Kosovars would happen, Kosovo reports.

” I want to repeat that if parliament proceedings and votes the agreement on demarcation and we are ready to move very quickly with the liberalisation process and with very concrete results for Kosovo citizens”, it had confirmed Moghrini in March 2017 at a media conference, and this was not her only statement on the issue of Kosovo's free movement, Klan Kosova reported.

But despite Demarcaion's with Montenegro was ratified, Foreign Policy Commissioner Johannes Hahn said Kosovo's visa would not potentially have until 2020.

Hahn even argued Mogher's statements, saying she was referring to whether the demarcation would be ratified, it was considered a job performed only by the Kosovo parties, but not to have stated it is a matter concluded by the European Union to abolish the visa regime.

The”Work was carried out by Kosovo when the decision to ratify Demarketation with Montenegro was made, and it was our turn to implement our share, and this has ended with the final positive report before the commission. There was a great majority, and the issue lies in the European Council, and this issue takes much time. The year 2020 may be realistic, but it happens even earlier, not to be held hostage by the” dates, Commissioner Hahn has indicated today in his address to the media, Kosovo reports.
